wteau asked: First off, big fan and (somewhat) long time follower. You've really been pushing your style, almost aggresively with how you choose to add tons of detail lines, adding more characteristics with faces, clothes, etc. It's certainly making your stuff stand out more than ever. So I guess I'm wondering, is there any reason for your newfound revelation in style? I know it didn't just happen over night, but was there a moment(s) when something just sort of clicked?

Thank you, that’s a huge compliment. And thanks for sticking around here!

I think what happened was, almost a year after finishing the first OCB issues, I went back and looked at it again with fresh eyes. I started seeing how there was a disconnect between how I imagined the pages in my head, and how they actually looked — if that makes any sense. So that helped make me try harder. And process-wise, I guess it’s just a matter of constantly finding good new art to look at and trying out things in the sketchbook.
